We like the most recent news that folks like Google, YouTube and Facebook are adding people to help their systems choose good and bad content. Too many people are putting unwavering faith in the technology that is supposed to make their job easier and their decisions easier. Somehow that doesn't really work for the video content we develop, distribute and view. Too many variables are involved including things like "this is what I feel like right now, right here." Even a couch potato has something going on in his/her mind - even at the subconscious level - or they'd forget to breath. The new standards that are being rolled out will make content even richer, better, more intense but it will still require people who know how to produce great content and who appreciate it.
