Video Podcast: Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 with Jeff Schell By Jeff Schell

In this inaugural video podcast, DMN video podcaster Jeff Schell takes a look at the new features in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. In particular, Jeff looks at what's new in the graphical user interface (GUI); he uncovers the changes made behind the scenes; he walks you through the latest "bell & whistle"" features like Time Remapping, and also describes which applications you get for free when you purchase Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.

Jeff Schell is a video editor, comedy writer, author, Web designer, technical trainer, actor, and amateur physics geek. As an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI), Jeff travels across the country teaching video production classes in Premiere Pro, Encore DVD, and After Effects via his website www.jeffschell.com. Jeff is the author of Premiere Pro 1.5 Hands-On-Training , and Premiere Pro 2 Hands-On-Training . In addition, Jeff is the tour guide behind the Premiere Pro 2 Essential Training online tutorials at Lynda.com . Jeff also has worked with Adobe in developing questions for their Premiere Pro and After Effects certification exams.

Jeff has produced and edited video for local news, network television, Emmy award winning programs, and nationally syndicated shows. Jeff combines more than a decade of experience in the television and video production world, with an equal amount of software and hardware technical support. Jeff's knowledge of both video editing and computer troubleshooting has helped him to become a nationally recognized trainer in non-linear editing. Jeff has worked extensively in the development of custom curricula and courseware for software training, and schedules his own classes and one-on-one training sessions.

Schell's weekly video podcast series officially begins August 1, 2007, when he will introduce more tutorials covering Adobe's update to Premiere Pro.
