Working Title Agency Expands With Key Hires
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Working Title Agency President Bill Reeves announces three key appointments to further fuel the company's leadership position as a full-service marketing, consumer products, and financing firm known for its faith-based product expertise.
Kris Fuhr, formerly of Movie Gal Marketing and Provident Films, joins as Vice President of Marketing. Responsible for successful marketing campaigns for films such as HEAVEN IS FOR REAL, FIREPROOF, and COURAGEOUS, Kris also led faith-based marketing efforts for JONAH: A VeggieTales Movie and SOUL SURFER. Featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NPR and other news outlets, Fuhr has been a leader in faith-based film marketing for almost 15 years. As one of the pioneers in the faith film marketing space, Fuhr's knowledge and marketing creativity have led to six top-ten theatrical openings.
Brian Mitchell, formerly with DreamWorks Animation/Big Idea Entertainment and Thomas Nelson Publishers, will serve as Vice President of Product Development. A senior marketing and licensing expert, Mitchell brings more than twenty-five years of experience spanning executive level roles in radio, recording, entertainment and publishing, where he led marketing for 14 New York Times best selling books. Mitchell's rich experience in licensing, consumer products and marketing is unique in the faith-based space.
Dave Mechem, formerly of Sony Home Entertainment, will lead as Vice President of Product Expansion/Distribution. A veteran of theatrical and home entertainment releases, Mechem guided the home-entertainment release plans for SOUL SURFER, COURAGEOUS, HEAVEN IS FOR REAL, and MOM'S NIGHT OUT, among others. Dave brings unique experience in managing product expansion into both Christian retail and general market accounts.
