Reality Check Systems Powers Super Bowl XLVIII Live Coverage

Deploys 24 Turnkey "Bullet" Systems and Delivers Custom Interactive Graphics Solutions for On-Air Broadcasts (January 30, 2014)
DMN Newswire--2014-1-30--
As Super Bowl XLVIII coverage kicks off this week, customized technology solutions and dynamic on-air graphics packages from Reality Check Systems (RCS) are in play for the 8th consecutive year across major networks such as NFL Network, ESPN and DirecTV. 24 RCS "Bullet" custom hardware/software mobile graphics systems, including a "Twitter Bullet" module, to incorporate live Tweets into broadcast graphics, are currently in the field and will remain in use until the completion of the game. Several Super Bowl-related broadcasts, including NFL Network's live international feed of the game, will also feature graphics packages built and powered by RCS' in-house team.

"The Super Bowl is a massive event with more than 100 million people tuning in just for the game alone. It's exciting to see how clients use our technology and designs to boost audience engagement, and on such a large scale," shared RCS Producer Glenn White. "Whether a Bullet hardware system or a variety of technical and creative services, our work will be seen in more than 100 hours of Super Bowl coverage this year. It's a true testament to the quality and capabilities of our technology solutions, deployment process and in-house talent."

The RCS Bullet Fleet comprises three models of portable solutions that combine powerful broadcast software with industry-standard hardware to facilitate high-quality, real-time graphics on-air. Available for rent, the plug-and-play Bullet units are pre-configured to meet each client's specifications and fit seamlessly into any broadcast environment. An extension of RCS' Bullet line, the Twitter Bullet is a small flightpack designed to help broadcasters boost fan engagement through social media. With custom hardware, software and an intuitive interface, it allows networks to mine and air relevant Tweets for live broadcasts.

Additional Super Bowl programs to showcase dynamic graphics by RCS this year include: DirecTV's "Dan Patrick Show" and "Celebrity Beach Bowl;" and NFL Network's "Total Access," "Super Bowl LIVE," "Gameday Morning," "Gameday Final" and "Gameday First."
