Notre Dame selects Kansas City's Dimensional Innovations

Joins design team for campus expansion project centered around iconic football stadium (April 16, 2014)

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., April 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --The University of Notre Dame is launching a $400 million campus expansion centered around its iconic football stadium, and after an extensive competitive review that included design firms from around the country, Kansas City-based Dimensional Innovations (DI) won the project to provide Environmental Graphics Design Services.

Dimensional Innovations from Kansas City has been selected by Notre Dame University to provide branding services for the iconic Campus Crossroads Project.

"We were extremely impressed by the creativity that DI brought to the table during the interview process," said Julie Boyton, Director of Interior Architecture at Notre Dame. "They listened to us and reinforced our own belief in a collaborative approach."

Known as the "Campus Crossroads Project," this is the single largest capital project ever at Notre Dame. Located in the heart of campus, the project calls for three new multi-disciplinary buildings attached to the east, west and south sides of the stadium. Fundraising is underway and construction is expected to begin within two years.

Dimensional Innovations has become known for creating iconic experiences at stadiums, entertainment venues and in corporate settings. The Kansas City based design-build firm will create a world-class experience for all three buildings. Responsibilities include branding, theming, graphics and signage design.
