"Working in documentaries for most of my career," comments Junge, "Im used to working on projects for two or three years. So I was intrigued by the idea of joining a company like Futuristic to represent me in this new arena of advertising projects, where authenticity and emotion is desirable. Applying my skills to several recent projects has been liberating, and given me the chance to work with some key talents that I have always wanted to. With Futuristics Denver office being near me, there is a natural symbiosis, but they are also really good people. That is important to me. Futuristic Films recently worked with international retailer Forever21 to create an augmented reality billboard (named one of the "10 Coolest Ads Ever to Appear in Times Square"), a six-spot campaign, and a holographic fashion show. Collaborating with space150 productions, Futuristic Films Director Jasper Gray completed these three revolutionary projects. Also collaborating with space150 productions, Futuristic Films Director Nicholaus Goossen created an interactive music video for the recent opening of the 77kids New York City flagship store. (77kids is American Eagle Outfitters new brand for toddlers and youngsters). Shot in black-and-white, with a gritty feel, the 45-second music video utilizes motion control and high-end tracking technology that allows young customers of 77kids to have their head shot merged into the video. Elements from the music video are showcased in-store as well as on outdoor digital billboards. Personalized music videos can be saved to an iPad or posted to Facebook or Twitter. Other recent projects for Futuristic Films include a national commercial for Rawlings featuring NFL Superstar Steve Jackson, directed by Bill Timmer; and a multi-platform campaign for skate brand Osiris, directed by Futuristics Nicholaus Goossen.
