DKBmed's New Website Offers Enhanced Access to Educational Programs
NEW YORK, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- DKBmed, LLC has launched a newly designed website that facilitates greater access to the company's successful continuing medical education programs for learners, partners and supporters. The programs are designed to close knowledge and practice gaps among healthcare practitioners through e-mail and Internet programs, mobile technology, and live presentations. The website is accessible at www.dkbmed.com.
"This has been a terrific year for DKBmed. In addition to launching our new website, we're also celebrating the tenth volume of eNeonatal Review, the inaugural program in our eLiterature Review series," explained Dean Beals, President and CEO of DKBmed, which was established in 2002. "Many of the practitioners who have subscribed to one of our programs over the years have crossed over to register for other programs, which demonstrates the success these learning platforms. Our new website makes it easier than ever for primary care providers and specialists to access the programs that will assist them in better treating their patients." More than 86,000 participants have registered for the company's programs, many subscribing for multiple years.
The website homepage prominently features the company's three most recent programs. Other programs are accessible by clinical area and program name through a convenient drop-down menu. Company news and other information are accessible under another menu. "We spent over six months developing our new website, researching the needs of our various constituents redesigned our site with clinicians' needs in mind," said Anthony Pace, Senior Web Developer and Marketing Specialist at DKBmed. "The new site enables DKBmed to refresh and expand our brand." Care was taken to ensure that the website displays optimally in all browsers and on all platforms, including mobile devices such as Smart Phones and tablets.
DKBmed's new website now also serves as the hub for all eLiterature Review programs. By visiting eLiteratureReview.com, users can access twelve current and past programs in the series. eLiterature Review summarizes current medical literature for subscribers and includes e-mailed newsletters, case studies, and podcasts, depending on the program. Current topics include neonatal medicine, diabetes, hepatitis, cystic fibrosis, ophthalmology, and HIV/AIDS. Participants can earn continuing education credits by completing the programs.
DKBmed is an integrated, non-accredited, continuing medical education company operated by a team of experienced medical education professionals.
